Even slightly worse than its predecessor. The two Zaxxons were truly awful, lazy ports to the Atari. Absolutely awful. They should never have hit the market in this state (particularly since Sega's releases for the 2600 tended to be quite high quality). The A8's were capable of and deserved so much better. |

| Looking at the screencaps, this looks more basic than I remember. I do recall getting this as part of the first batch of games I got with the computer that fateful Christmas and finding it challenging. It was exciting coming face to face with the dragon for the first time... that looked rather impressive, but this one didn't have much lastability for me for some reason so wasn't one I returned to much. |
