These were written by David Crane in parallel with his work on the Atari 800 Operating System ROM, along with Al Miller, Bob Whitehead, and Larry Kaplan. Basically, these were test programs to demonstrate the hardware, and are among some of the earliest bits of code along with Star Raiders, Video Easel, and Breakout. |
