My friend and I wrote the fix for the bug in the released version in the paper magazine edition. We submitted it to ANTIC and they did post the correction. We got a subtle mention in the Portland Atari club as "two boys from Vancouver, WA wrote the fix." Such as it is, it was the first published piece of software.
Later I got paid to fix developer's code and complain via QA at Intel Labs. :P
