This game was/is very common in Germany. A rarity of "9" is absolutely ridiculous ! Originally sold by KE-Soft, it was later sold by Power per Post (PPP). KE himself was so nice to sell his rights to Abbuc, PPP and Andreas Magenheimer - but in the end the situation was cleared and all KE Soft titles are freeware now !
Besides, "Die Zeitmaschine 3 - Die Außerirdischen" was originally commercial (now freeware!), whereas "Die Zeitmaschine" and "Die Zeitmaschine 2" were PD right from the start. If you like the gfx by Antist, search for another gfx-adventure, named Bright Eyes.
Last not least, there is a demo version of "Die Zeitmaschine 3 - Die Außerirdischen" available, this demo has very nice animated graphics, alas, the full version is just a standard gfx-adventure without any animated gfx...
The solution to this adventure can be found in various german magazines (ZONG, Atari magazin, etc.)...
