This is another kingdom-like economic simulation. Except the english title, it is completely using german language. And err, it has more than 90% similarity to the german commercial game "Kaiser", so that one could think it has been ripped and a few changes and patches have been made to the original Kaiser program. Well, I do not know for sure if this program is a ripp-off of Kaiser, but hopefully it is not...
Anyways, this program plays as good as Kaiser, except that it does not show any graphics (text only). The game is easy to understand, very fair and does not require a manual to play. Besides the golden menu colour, the rangs (Baron, King, etc.), the grain buy/sell menu, land buy/sell menu, the tax menu and the economy menu, it even features the war / battle scenario which is well known from Kaiser. Last not least, the goal of this game is to become Kaiser, what more similarities do we need ? Nevertheless it is a quite good (ripped?) program. Alas, it has a small bug, we start as "Hofnarr" (jester) and when we get promoted the first time, our new rang is again "Hofnarr" (jester)... |
