European Video Games Championship 1989
Atari ST version of Turbo Cup was one of the five competition games in European Video Games Championship 1989 held at Salon de la Micro computer show in Paris.
Other four competition games were Super Mario Bros. (NES), New Zealand Story (Amiga), Captain Silver (Sega Master System) and Forgotten Worlds (Amstrad CPC).
Championship was won by US Gold sponsored Computer + Video Games magazine team from UK. Second place went to French team sponsored by Tilt Magazine while Spanish team sponsored by Micromania Magazine came third.
Grand prize was 3000 francs.
