                        AIM OF THE GAME

The aim of the game is to construct a line from one side of the
board to the other. The whole board is made up from hexagons, and
by linking these together, a path can be created from one side to
the other.
These hexagons come in 4 different colours, which relate to
various subjects. The four subjects are sport, nature, places and
people.
Once one of the players has selected his/her move, a question
from that subject is displayed, a letter at a time on the screen.
A player can interrupt at any time in order to answer the
question, by pressing the appropriate key.
From here that player has to answer the question within a
certain time limit, otherwise play is handed over to the opponant.
If a question is not answered by either players, then a new move,
or different question can be selected by the previous player.
Play is always handed over to the person that answers a question
correctly.
The game is over once one player has formed a line from one
side to the other. 10 points are awarded for each question
answered, and an appropriate prize awarded at the end of play.
To play again, you must re-load the game.

                             RULES

At the start of a new game, white ALWAYS goes first. After the
first turn, the players name is displayed in the bottom right-hand
corner, indicating whose turn it is.

Play is always given to the player that answers the question
correctly.

Moves MUST be made within one hexagon of your own colour, ie blue
must move next to another blue hexagon on the board.

A question is given to the FIRST person to press there key.

The WHOLE answer must be entered before the allotted time runs
out.

DO NOT press at the end of an answer, it will only be
ignored. If the answer is mis-spelt, then you must type the answer
following the previous answer before the time runs out.

The game ends once one player has his colour at both ends of the
board.

White travels HORIZONTALLY across the board.
Blue travels VERTICALLY across the board.

A prize is awarded at the end of the game according to the highest
score.

                              KEYS

Both players may enter there name at the beginning of the game. By
pressing the names Henry and Berty will be used!

White key is '1'
Blue key is '0'

NB either the keyboard or numeric pad can be used.

Selection on the board is made using the mouse.
move the pointer over the required hexagon, and press the LEFT
mouse button.

After your prize has been displayed, to play again press the
SPACE BAR, and reload the game.

                          INFORMATION

The program was written entirely using GFA Basic and would have
included many tunes, but unfortunately my version does not support
3 channel sound!

picture files, additional question files, and the question editor,
