At last, the sequal to Squidgey, and as promised to Mike Goodman, a
totally new concept in gameplay, which in my mind makes for exelent
gameplay. I you missed Squidgey 1, you missed the opportunity to register,
and get the full copy of Squidgey 2 with the lvel editor. WHAT A WASTE!
If however you have a registered version of Squidgey and you haven't
recieved the great sequal, then, please get in contact, but I warn you I
have everybodies names and addresses on MAgbase, so you can't swindel me!
Still, on with the show and they say in show biz! Oh, and for all you
techy people out there, I'll tell you how speed was greatly improved while
keeping the memory down to a minimum! NART! Well, all I'll say, is that I
spend five or six weeks trying out loads of assembly rountines to wipe the
smile of Misty!

Ho Hum!

Here's how to play this great game of the month / year / decade / century
/ millenium.

The how point of the game is to get Squidgey (He's got feet now!) from the
starting point to the exit! (What a surprise!) Well as per usual, he got
two problems in his way. The first being the strict time period aloud. The
second in the fun bit of getting there!

On the walls of each and every level, there are square coloured buttons.
And on the majority of platforms, there are coloured diamonds inpregnated
into them (nice word that, - inpregnated). Well, as you might have
already guessed, you've got to collect the square buttons to allow
progress. Here's the idea of how to go about this.

You cannot stand on a platform with a brown diamond in it if you have not
collected it. By standing on it without the button will make you power
level drop (very quickly - might I add). If however, you have collected
the brown button, you can stand on the platform with the brown diamond in
it - still with me!? There once you stand on the platform, it will be
"neutralised" so you can walk on any time at all.
Once you reach the exit, you must use the same method of collecting
buttons to exit. The exit by the way is the doorway with the landscape.

Joystck control!

Left And Right move Squidgey respectively.
Fire makes Squidgey jump.

Pull Down to collect a button you are over. Use this method when you reach
the exit.

Okay that's all there is to it - he he heeee.

Remember folks, this game is shareware and it's your responcability to
register your copy. I won't do a Jeff Minter and bore you stiff with all
the resons why, just to say what goodies you'll recieve in return for you
hard earnt dosh.

Once your registration fee is cleared. The full version of Squidgey 2 will
be packed off to you, and your name will be placed on MAGbase and called
up for future use, ie. to send you the next F.S.E. game, free of charge.
You will get your copy within one month of it going public.

To see how to register, please either print out the REISTER.FSE file or
try to write the form as best you can. All the details on the for are in
fact relevant to us, as that way we know who our gamesters are.

Many that to everybody who has registered an F.S.E. game in that past. We
hope to keep up the standard and improve.

Ta TA!

Toby.
