Speech
The digized speech from the title screen comes not from a movie but is a voice of the game coder Peter Johnson. He couldn't get a decent sample from VHS-tape and decided to do it with his own voice. It was treated through a Yamaha SPX90 effects unit.

You can actually build a face of Gary Bracey (Ocean's software development manager) in the identikit minigame.
