What a great optimized ST game. There are A LOT of sprites on the screen with nary as slowdown. This is a free game that puts Better Dead Than Alien to shame with its technical superiority.
I do like BDA's extra weapons and bosses though. |

Nova
Nova is a brilliant shoot-'em-up arcade game that runs in low resolution
colour. It was written by Arunan Thaya-Paran entirely in machine code using
HiSoft's Devpac and the graphics were drawn using Rainbird's Advanced OCP Art
Studio.
The instructions are simply: blast everything that moves, survive as long
as possible and amass the greatest number of points you can. Use the joystick
or the keyboard.
A - Left
S - Right
Return - Fire
F10 - Quit |
