Title: Nano Cave
Author(s): Shaoth, DMA SC, Pépé Peek-poke
Info:
It's a minimalist Rogue based on 8x8 tiles in which the player goes through randomly generated levels to recover a precious Artefact.
Recovering the Artefact is half the battle, and then you have to climb back up to get out of the Cave!
It's not all plain sailing, as you come up against 26 different types of monster, each more powerful as the levels progress.
Around sixty items (weapons, armour, scrolls, rings, potions) are available.
This dangerous journey is also a journey through the history of computing, taking you through the levels as you would have done on a ZX81, C64, PC CGA, AMSTRAD, MACINTOSH, GAMEBOY... and of course ATARI ST!
Only one life available, with the option of saving your game to resume later.
There are more than 50 achievements to unlock to obtain magnificent original illustrations.
Half by fighting monsters, half by performing different actions.
You are accompanied on your journey by the wonderful music of DMA-SC.
The game is coded in GFA Basic, on an Atari Mega STE, and is offered in a compiled version.
