THE WORLD'S FIRST EVER 128 BYTE GAME

                               By Reservoir Gods

By day George was a humble dogsbody, a simple school janitor whose hours were
spent sweeping up crisp packets and fag ends from behind the bike sheds. His
only small moments of pleasure came when cleaning the girls changing rooms
during PE sessions.

But as night swept over the swirling metropolis, George leapt into his filing
cabinet and emerged as 'Hong Tron Phooey' Number 128byte Supervisor Mode guy!

With the scent of the night air filling his nostrils, George would leap aboard
his quantum powered atomic tricycle and hurtle high through the night air
leaving a laser trail in his wake.

The thrill of the ride came with avoiding the mountainous skyscrapers that
littered the city.

Tonight was special. Tonight George was going to paint the town white with his
strobing laser trail. He tightened his grip on the throttle and roared off into
the night sky.

A whole Falcon game in 128 bytes? We kid you not, Atari kids.
One hundred and twenty eight bytes of raw throbbing Falcon action lie quivering
in the humble bytes of this file.

Set your Falcon into True Colour 320x400 Mode (Interlace On/Double Line Off)
Hold on tight! It's gonna be a bumpy ride!

As you are flying through the sky, the city of Hong Kong looks mostly blue.
Due to a hole in the space/time continuum, flying off the boundaries of the
city will wrap you round to the other side.

You can see the tops of the SkyScrapers on the map.
Avoid them or you will die. Horribly.

Your sky-trike leaves a searing trail in the sky.
Do not drive into it or you will die. Even more horribly.

Use Cursor Left to turn your sky-trike left.
Use Cursor Right to turn your sky-trike right.
After dying you will be warped to a different part of the city.
All city maps are based on original Ordnance Survey layouts.

We are truly sorry that this game is so bobbins.
128 bytes is not much for an entire game.
We might do a super enhanced 256 byte version with multiple players, AI
  and score and stuff.
Alternatively, we may just stay in bed and listen to "My Beatbox" by Deejay

It's all the fault of MrPink and his crazy night-time devpac antics.
All other members of RG are totally absolved of blame as they were all
"washing their hair" during its creation.

DHS for starting the ball rolling...
  ALT for the great party
  MSG for words
  sh3 for pictures
  CIH for reading
  TAT for writing
  UCM for reviewing
  EXA for K
  BSS for debuggers
505 for loving 128 byte action
  ART for the forthcoming demo
WRC for being the only other 3 letter acronym I can think of
FIN for being such a cool country!

We must be stopped! But we need your help!
Prevent Reservoir Gods from inflicting any more 128 byte terror on the masses
by writing to all of these people.

Please avoid these web sites at all costs:

The only surefire way to hide from the onslaught of 128 byte stuffs is to lock
yourself in a dark cupboard. In Poland. Don't peek through the keyhole.

A comment on 'Hong Tron Phooey' from the right honourable William Hague, MP:
"This is what the youth of this country have been reduced to under the
leadership of this fragmented government! Itsss a disgraaaace"
