RIGHT! Down to business...
To run this outstanding piece of code you will need:
i) A 1 Megabyte Atari ST compatible computer with floppy
drive,
ii) A joystick and mouse (or ability to move the pointer
using the alternate key and cursor keys!),
iii) One heck of a nervous system,
iv) Blindingly fast reactions, and
v) A VERY trigger happy finger!!!
Basically, the human race has survived one disaster after
another, the latest being the destruction of the sun. To avert
the total freeze, the few million that were left, fled through
the solar system until they found Firan. Just as they got
settled (about one hundred years later), blips appeared on their
sky-tracker systems and they were under attack. Now, come on!
You don't seriously expect anyone to have built more than one
defense ship, do you? Thought not! And guess who they've got to
fly it? Yup! Good ol' Mr. Gullible!
This game was originally to be released commercially.
Unfortunately, the company involved with it's release pulled out
of the ST market. If you do enjoy playing this game, please send
œ5.00 to the address at the end of this document file. It will
be much appreciated and who knows, if I get a descent response
from you lot, I may release the follow up - Return to Firan.
If you do send the money, you will get the complete
Holocaust disk which includes the full story and other bit's and
pieces that had to be cut out for the game to fit on the cover
disk.
For an extra œ2.50 (total of œ7.50) you can also get
ATOMS II - a magnificent mind bender that you can play against
the computer or up to four friends - no adaptor required.
Here is the address for sending comments, correspondence

Phew! Well, I guess I've excited you enough for one day.
Enjoy playing, and if anyone wants the fully documented source
code, just send œ150,000.00 to the address stated above and,
heck, I'll even throw in my entire computer system!
