The Good
The music and sound stands out. The Pokey audio chip often results in a full sound scape.
The Bad
Ok, so that Bruto head does look a little strange. Otherwise, the graphics are quite nice. And the backgrounds are detailed and colourful.
The Bottom Line
So, an excellent port of the arcade. Good graphics and music and playability. All for only 12KB on a cartridge wouldn’t you know.

There is a new year 2015 enhanced graphics version of Popeye for model 800, this same unlimited lives cheat works on that file and the other 800 files and cartridges, except the one byte to edit is found at different offsets.

| a very good rendition of the nintendo arcade game very colorful all the levels are there,sometimes when you punch a can it is not quite right and you are killed with a cheap shot
the little secret tricks on each level are nice (such as the punching bag on the first level)
