OOps...wrote that I bought this game in '82. Make that 1983. It wasn't out in '82. |
| Man, what memories - ane what a great game. I remember so clearly walking into Record Factory (a now-defunct record store in San Francisco) in 1982 and seeing this game and thinking it had the coolest box art I had ever seen. I bought the game (still have it!) and spent countless hours playing it. It's incredibly frustrating playing it with 5200 controllers, but really fun on an Atari 800. (They're the same game codes, so both games are identical.) Again, hell of a great game....one of the best for the 5200. Love it! |
| This is a very good game especially if you have a digital joystick interface for your Atari 5200 as that really helps in certain jumps where you have to jump from the edges and onto another edge. It's one of the reasons I made a digital joystick adapter so I can use a digital joystick with the PC and Atari 5200 to play games like this and Pengo, Joust, Pac-man, etc. Very good graphics, sounds, and collision detection.
