Well,
the author Stephan Baucke is extremely well-known for his gamedos "Nano-DOS Converter". In the 80s every pirate had that gamedos and even today many Atarians still use it to load games...

This snake-clone was first published in a "Spiele Sondermagazin" (a special magazine, which covered game reviews for several computer platforms) and later re-published in the "Atari Sondermagazin 2" (a special magazine with lots of type-ins, reviews, schematics, etc. only for A8 computers)... To save space it used some sort of byte-packer (one that removes zeroes I guess) and as a result, the program has hundreds of loading segments... -Andreas Koch.
