Predates the Infocom game and is actually a conversion of the program sold by Estuary Software Products on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum and Supersoft on the Commodore 64.
The line "by kind permission of Douglas Adams and Pan Books" on the first screen appeared on the Commodore 64 version. Despite the notice, legal action was taken and this edition was eventually withdrawn. The game was re-released as Cosmic Capers with minor text changes and references to the book removed.
