Not much originality here, just your typical rescuing the damsel in distress from a beast. It would be a decent game, but the graphics, sound, and gameplay are mediocre at best. It's difficult to gauge what your obstacles are and where it's safe to jump. You'll find yourself losing a lot of lives before you make your way through the game. |

It was understandable that Congo Bongo was a disaster on the Atari 2600. After all, with no little memory, it's hard to program a graphics oriented game without sacrificing some of the visual element and play-mechanic.
