Fairly standard arcade game. You control a helicopter and must land beside buildings to pick up survivors. Level one is pretty simple to negotiate, but the difficulty factor from level two onwards spoils what could have been a great game. On level one you are just shot at by mounted guns, on level two you have to survive flying birds and ground level tanks shooting at you as well. Level 3 introduces indestructable missiles flying through the screen also. As far as I can tell levels 4 onwards are just the same as level 3, just faster. It is impossible to survive your 3 lives for long, so the author has allowed you to select the level (1-10) you wish to play.
It is a shame that the level of difficulty did not increment gradually so that you could progress through a number of levels in a single go.
So this does not score high for playabiliity and is a little frustrating. Still worth a look though. |
