The prob.defunct Computer Games magazine gave this a negative review. You are cast as Lord Charles Buckingham III (like lord Carnavaran), but you flounder like an idiot if you don't know the words recognized by the program. The text descript is also minimal. They compared it to the prose of Infocom, which paints the picture in your mind.

I am feeling a need for a little nostalgia. This is the first time my dad ever included me in his "mysterious computer life". I remember getting stuck at the pool (along with my dad) and remember the amazing feeling I had when I solved this stumping block. One of the few times I ever felt that my father acknowledged my intelligence. I never finished this game and now at age 45...

I bought this game and finished it pretty quickly. Graphics were pretty good for the time, but the parser was terrible.
I still remember spending a long time stuck at a pool, trying to drain it. I couldn't figure at the right phrase, finally I got it one night while trying to fall asleep.
