A great synergy of graphics and music. This was one of several games of the time in (Boulder Dash and Karateka, to name a couple) which I was hoping for an Atari 8-bit renaissance since by 1985 support was beginning to waver. I remember the first time I loaded up the game to be totally startled by hearing music that sounded *really* dynamic and rockin'! I had no idea the POKEY chip was capable of sounding anything like that. Yes, there were many games that had a nice musical score to it, but nothing like this. It sounded like it was coming out of keyboard synthesizer.
I used to play this game hooked up to my boombox, and sometimes on a large screen TV (as opposed to my 12" Sony). Great fun, even thirty years(!) later.

That has less to do with the Atari having a better soundchip and more to do with the Atari having a better programmer.

I loved this game. The gameplay is very poor (just fly trough the gates and hit the right tones), but the soundtrack from Russell Lieblich blew me away. Many people thought that the C64 had the better soundchip. Just play this one on the Atari and compare it to the version for the C64. The soundtrack (yes, there is a different track for each level!) sounds much better on the Atari. Thumbs up!

A classic! This was one of those memorable and original games that really used the 800's graphic and audio muscles to the fullest.

This game is one of the most originally and funny games that I've played in Atari. And the music thats very good and gives a plus to the game.
