Alas, atarimania does not know that there were several german magazines named Homecomputer: a) Homecomputer (by Tronic Verlag), b) HC-Homecomputer (by Vogel Verlag), c) HCA - Home Computer Aktiv and maybe a few others. Most type-in listings of these german magazines can be found here: http://ataribasiclistings.mygamesonline.org/ This program is from HCA - Home Computer Aktiv.

This game i made using turbo basic and enhanced it with some machine code functions for the display of the cards. The cards are drawn using a custom font. This game is an adaption of an arcade poker machine that was located in a club that i loved. To save some money, i decided to make myself a program that works similar to the arcade machine, so i could play it at home and save my money. Later i published it in the german magazine "Home Computer Active", for which i worked from August 1987 to March 1989.
