The funny thing is, you are showing the cover of the re-release from 1987 here (the cover from the double tape case). The original tape release from 1985 comes on a standard or small tape case and the cover does not say "300.000 units sold", because they were just starting selling this program.

There is also a re-release of Football Manager by Paxman Promotions (a Prism Leisure Corporation product) from 1987. It comes in a double-tape case.

Though coded in Basic, this was a ridiculously addictive game which I spent many many hours playing which is funny because I'm not a football fan. I've played quite a few football manager games ever since on various machines, but find them too cumbersome and long winded for comfort. I'm sure this looks very basic and a bit naff nowadays but it did it's job nicely for it's day and provided many hours of brain straining fun.
