This is just better than Amiga version. The comments below are the best proofs. Thank you :)

I advice being careful when using the word 'better' anyway, because often something might be simply 'different', but people use that word, because of various reasons.

Something is done later - it's automatically 'better'.

Something has more something - it's automatically 'better', etc.

A beautifully, painstakingly and skillfluly drawn spaceship with 4 colors in 160x240 is objectively better graphics than a solid grey square on dark grey background that takes no effort to draw in 1920x1080 with 16 777 216 color palette.

But people that like to use the word 'better' wrong, would scream that the grey box is BETTER GRAPHICS, because it has more pixels, higher resolution, represents modern graphics and has more colors (even if not used).

MOST TIMES, the graphics especially, are not "better" in any absolute term, but more like "different", and some viewer might experience them as more aesthetically pleasing, but another viewer might NOT.

So these are not 'better graphics', they're just DIFFERENT. You can't always "improve" graphics, you can just make them different.

The FMTowns Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders graphics are not BETTER than the C64 version's - they're just different. There's more to graphics than what's immediately obvious - when graphics lack detail, that lack may actually provoke your imagination and thus you get a DEEPER EXPERIENCE, because your imagination takes part in creating the graphics, and thus the C64 version's graphics can be better!

But people look at this like 'more something' is automatically BETTER, and even if it's artistically or visually worse, because it has more pixels, higher resolution or MORE graphics, it somehow automatically translates to "better graphics".

I weep for this world, for it is filled with people like that.

Better graphics? Is that, what that is! I thought someone had vomited all over the screens. Since when is adding ugly, non-fitting blotches of distorted colors considered 'better graphics'? At least the Amiga version looked like the colors fit seamlessly together with each other. This is like PoP - the Jackson Pollock edition.

Sorry to rag on the ST - it's a nifty little machine, but it's like the Spectrum of the 16-bit world; because of price, everything had to be slashed - the graphics, the sound, the sprites, the movement, the palette, the..

So I guess whatever little wins over the Amiga the ST crowd can get, they'll take anything, even these 'better graphics'.

Ok, fine, you can have your 'better graphics'. Meanwhile, I'll go play the Super Famicom version of this game on my real Super Famicom..

Will work on 512k machines but the music is reduced. It will also install to HD Drives with 1mb but again, the music will be reduced, use 2Mb for full music on HDs. Will NOT work on HDs if you only have 512k.

You can also play the game with the keyboard, with some patience ;)
