@ Thomas Hayes - can you describe this glitch you mentioned?
Scott Stilphen - 27/11/2017
The original programmer of Fill'er Up! himself, Tom Hudson, commented that Electric Starfish is an unauthorized ripoff of his game. Atarimania needs to credit him for it, and provide a link to Fill'er Up.

Fill'er Up! (and the Electric Starfish, small "Qix" knock-offs) are missing the enemy sparklers that burn like fuses along the walls, making for a dimensionless game which precipitated the creation of "Fill'er Up! II", worthy of letting these older versions get erased. "FU-2" added sparklers, but even "FU-2" still lacks the 2-color 2-speed 2-points draw system which the Arcade and Atari Qix do have.

I remember playing this and discovering the glitch where you can fill the entire screen at once! I even wrote into Analog about this, but never heard back...

Hey ! Tom is right! , i spended many hours typing the hex game code from an Analog magazine, cool game anyway.
Tom Hudson - 22/07/2007
This is in reality "Fill 'Er Up", a game written by me for ANALOG Computing magazine. This guy just slapped his name on it.

A poor mans 'Qix', but a reasonably enjoyable adaptation.
