SUPER PSYCHO KART (1 Megabyte of memory , Joystick and any ST required.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Welcome to Super Psycho Kart, the one-level version.

This is the One level Demo version . Please note that you can get the real
game by sending 5 pounds to the Animalsoft adress.

Yep, it's cut down. Why ? Well, because it took me quite a while to
discover that strange psychological fact that people are more encouraged
by cut down versions than full versions. This I learned when I found out
that on the 60000 people that got ColorClash from the ST Format coverdisk,
only about 15 registered..... And I have to admit it, I would personally
be more encouraged by this cut down version than by a full version,
although you'd get a second game with the Full Version approach.... Verry
strange , that.

The full game features all sorts of fantastic things: long intro and end
sequences (yes, all Animalsoft games have a rewarding end sequence when
you play them out , something even most commercial games are seriously
lacking....) , a lot of different monsters, different extras including
rocket fuel that enables you to fly . Levels that are easier than this
one, levels that are harder than this one, great graphics(but you probably
noticed that)(ehm..), 6 different characters from other animalsoft games,
including Antonius the chameleon from COLOR CLASH, each with their own
karts and weapons. This demo only features Psycho Pig, and Tsin Fei from
Fatemaster. (chosen , unlike in the full version, at random.), saveable
highscores and, well, just a GREAT Shareware experience that isn't
all that common on the ST anymore.....

How do I order ?

It's quite simple :open your wallet, take a fiver, fetch an envelope,
write this adress on the front of the envelope: Animalsoft
                                                Rubensstraat 54
                                                1077 MT Amsterdam
                                                Holland
Put a stamp on the front, put the fiver in the envelope, (if you are
worried the postman will steal your money, put a piece of karton in the
envelope), write a little note saying you want Super Psycho Kart, put it
in the envelope, seal the envelope, and put it in the mail-box.
I can't promise you this, but you'll probably get your game within 3 weeks!
Please do NOT send any cheques or money orders . They cost about 7 pounds
to cash in, so not really worth the hassle. And believe me , I have never
ever heard of Money getting lost in the post, something like that really
is extremely rare...... (The fact that your letter has to cross a bit of
water really doesn't increase that risk at all, too.)
Also, if you want to buy other Animalsoft games in the same way, please
see the end of this text.

The Intricate plot

The members of the Super Psycho Squad have been assembled because of some
strange events : some aliens have been kidnapping pig's from all over the
galaxy ! Now, It's up to the Squad to rescue the poor pigs that have been
stolen.
To aid them in their quest the heroes each have their own
Super Psycho Kart, a vehicle capable of amazing speeds and startling jumps.

How to play

Playing the game is not very hard. What The Super Psyhco Kart actually is
is a high speed Platform game, with a small twist. The players are not
glued to their karts, as in many other games. In fact, there will be many
occasions where it will be neccesary to leave the kart, because inside a
Kart there is not enough room to use a weapon.

       Jump when in kart
              /\

    move /-- --\ move
    left \__ __/ right

              \/
       leave/enter kart.

Pressing the fire button when on foot makes the character use it's weapon.
You will notice the players are unable to jump. There will therefore be
many occasions where the kart would theoretically be unreachable. For this
purpose the karts have a built in remote control steering. This and some
other options can be accessed only when on foot by pressing the spacebar.
Upon pressing a red square will appear at the top of the screen on the grey
bar.

______________________________________________________________________

Selecting the blue arrow (1) returns you to your character. The red circle
(2) is the pause option (the action on screen will continue while in the
menu, so keep alert until you enter the pause option !).
The black skull (4) is the suicide option. It probably won't happen all
too often, but when you get stuck or fed up, this is the short way out.
The grey square (3), finally, sends you to Remote mode. At the bottom of
the screen a warning will flash that you are. As long as this is visible,
you will not control your character. Instead, you control your empty
kart as usual. To return to Normal mode, simply push down on the joystick.
If you wish to leave the menu bar at the top quickly, simply press the
space bar a second time.

And now,for all you die hard Animalsoft fans (I just know you're out
there, somewhere.....), here it is, taken from the colorclash doc. :
