Short description:
------------------
MindSweeper is a clone of the MS-Windows game "Minesweeper". The game
and its dialogs are all placed in windows.
This version has some very addictive qualities, so be warned! Not in
the least because MindSweeper can be configured to let you "cheat"
legally (this will affect your scores naturally).
MindSweeper will run on all Atari's under GEM.
Installation and use:
---------------------
Installation is straightforward: just copy all files into the
directory of your choice and start the program.
The files that are contained in this distribution:
MINDS.PRG - the executable,
MINDS_UK.HLP - english help,
MINDS_NL.HLP - dutch help,
HELP.HLP - help on help,
README.1ST - this file.
The files that may be generated while playing MindSweeper are:
MINDS.INF - Containing startup information.
MINDS.LIC - Containing the licence code.
xxxxyyyy.SCO - A scorelist for each resolution you play in.
xxxx and yyyy are replaced by the actual screen
size in pixels.
Help:
-----
The Help provided with the game is a hypertext system. Press
and click your way through the help pages.
Help for the game itself is provided in two languages (English and
Dutch) but can be extended to any desired language if I get help
with translations - I'll be glad to provide you with the original
help text in ASCII format for translation; a free registration will
be your reward! If helpfiles become available I will post them as
MINDS_xx.ZIP on all BBS and FTP sites that originally received the
MINDS_11.ZIP from me ('xx' replaced by a two character country code).
Help on using Help is in English (in release 1.1 anyway).
I especially need someone's help with the German translation of the
Help Document! Please contact me if you want to do me this favour.
