INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SPORT
*******************************
To load the game double click on
IMS.PRG
1) MENU
1.1 On the menu screen use
the mouse to move the pointer and
click on an option using the
left mouse button.
1.2 Credits-This screen
shows the credits and some
additional information.Press a
key to exit back to the menu.
1.3 View high score table-
This screen shows the current
high score table.It will return
back to the menu after about
15 seconds.
1.4 Options-This gives you
some choices that affect the
gameplay.Press Y for music on or
press N for music off.To change
the difficulty level then press
E for easy,M for medium or H for
hard.More information about
these levels on the option screen
itself.
1.5 Instructions-This shows
some of the important things to
remember while playing the game.
1.6 Change keys-The default
keys are:
LEFT=Z
RIGHT=X
UP=K
DOWN=M
These can be changed by selecting
change keys from the menu. You
will then be shown a direction
and you enter the key you want to
use for that direction.Do this
for all four directions.
1.7 Start-Select this when
you are ready to start the main
game.You will directly go to the
start of the first race.
1.8 Practice Course-This is
a simple area that you can drive
around to get used to the
controls.Drive around on the
track and go to the finish when
you have had enough.
2) THE GAME
2.1 The Aim of the Game-is
to complete all ten tracks of the
challenge.When you complete
track 1 you progress on to track
2 and so on.
2.2 How this is Done-using
the keys you must drive your car
around the track.Any contact
between the engine (centre of
car) and the offroad will result
in your car crashing. To start
the car press the direction you
wish to go in first.You do not
need to hold the keys down while
you are driving,just press them
once.
3) OTHER INFORMATION
3.1 Version 2-As is stated
on the disk,version 2 should be
available from december 1992.If
you would like to send me any
ideas or suggestions for
improvements then send them to
me at the address below. Also if
you would like to design a course
for version 2 then draw it onto
paper and I will include it in
version 2 if possible.
If you would like a copy of
version 2 then send œ5 (or œ4 and
a blank disk) to the address
below.
3.2 Grand Hall of Fame-Also
on version 2 will be the grand
hall of fame.This will be a list
of the top scores and the names
of the people who achieved them.
If you gain a score in the region
of 80 000 then please send me
your score and name and you will
be entered into the hall of fame.
3.3 Address-Please send any
