Instructions - Crystal Caverns

CRYSTAL CAVERNS by Robin Edwards

INSTRUCTIONS

The aim of the game is to explore the
caves and find 3 crystals, one red,
one blue, and one green. Each of these
crystals should then be placed on its
stand. Most of the screens are
populated with evil creatures and
ghosts, whose aim is to stop you. There
are many special locations and spells
which can aid you in your quest.
You can learn spells by going to various
altars. Once learnt, you may cast them
when you want, but only a limited no.
of times.

PLAYING THE GAME

To play the game you must have a joy-
stick in port #2 of the ST.

Press P to pause and O to unpause.
Press Q to quit a game.
Press CONTROL-C to exit GEM.

Press UNDO to disable MUSIC.

Control your character with joystick
left right and up to jump.
You can cast a spell by pressing fire
and pulling down.

TIPS

>Make a map. Without one you will
miss many vital rooms.
>Test how many times you can cast
a spell before leaving the altar.
>If a room seems impossible, there
may be a spell that will help.
