Instructions - Buttonz Awari

MajicSoft, Inc. announces the release of Buttonz Awari!

Buttonz Awari is a new strategy game based on a three thousand year
old African classic. It comes from a group of games called Mancala,
in which seeds are moved from cup to cup around a board in an attempt
to capture opposing seeds. Names, boards, and rules differ from
region to region but the basic principles of play are generally the
same. Traditionally played by primitive tribesmen, the strategy of
these games is highly complex and demands a fine mathematical
calculation of possible moves and their results.

MajicSoft uses the Atari ST computer to bring digital magic to the
game. The game has 3D buttons (hence the name Buttonz Awari) and
instead of using cups to hold the seeds, we use digital registers to
hold numbers. The game requires one-megabyte of ram to operate.

The game offers two different variations and three different
artificial intelligence levels for the computer player. It also
allows two player mode with either the mouse, joysticks or keyboard.
As an extra feature, tournament mode allows for a match type game to
be played. An optional timer mode, allows for fast under pressure
gaming. Hard drives are supported and the game has no on disk copy
protection.

For owners of modems, you will be happy to hear that Buttonz Awari
also allows modem and null modem support, which allows friends to play
the game remotely.

Buttonz Awari will be released in two different types of packaging.
There will be a single version game which has one disk, an owners
manual and a warranty card and it will sell for $39.95. The double
version called the "Buddy Pak" which comes with two disk, two manuals
and two warranty cards will sell for $59.95. The "Buddy Pak" is
designed for friends that wish to go in halves to purchase the game
together to save money. Friends buying the "Buddy Pak" will save
about $20 dollars over each friend buying a single pak separately.

Buttonz Awari should appear in fine dealers everywhere during the
first week of April. Or you may order it directly from MajicSoft,
Inc. at 348 Meredith Square in Columbia, SC. The zip code is 29223.
Or call our toll-free order line at (800) 845-3070. If ordering by
mail, please include an additional $5.00 to cover the cost of
shipping and handling.

This demo of Buttonz Awari may be freely distributed so long as this
READ_ME.1ST file is included. Buttonz Awari is a commercial product
and all rights belong to MajicSoft, Inc..
