AMAZE!!! is a clone of a game, that I just see here on GENIE a
few days ago. It was originally written by Michael Allen and is
called WESP/ST. I like this game, but I was afraid that it will
only work in low resolution. So I took my compiler and typed my
own version of this nice game. Well, here it is!

You can start AMAZE!!! in two ways. Doubleclick on the AMAZE.PRG
at the DESKTOP or remane AMAZE.PRG in AMAZE.ACC, copy it to the
root directory of your bootdisk (dont forget the AMAZE.RSC file!)
and boot your computer.

AMAZE!!! should run on a ST, STE or TT in any resolution except
low resolution (the screen is not big enough for the form I
used).

The object of the game is to clear the squares from the screen.
Attention: There maybe only one or two ways to do this!

Your position is the highlighted square. Move with the cursor
keys. Be careful: If there is no square in the direction you
moved, the game is over! To jump over a square press the shift
key and a cursor key together. AMAZE!!! will jump only over
one square at a time. Solve the sixteen levels and you'll be
the king of the maze! Break the game anytime by pressing the
UNDO key.

AMAZE!!! is Freeware. If you like it, send me a picture postcard
from where you live - thats the only thing I beg for...
My address:

Let me tell you about some special things about AMAZE!!!.
If you look at the form that was displayed by AMAZE!!!, you see
some things that will not be usual in a normal GEM form:

In the buttons you see an underlined char. Press the ALTERNATE
key and the key, that belongs to the underlined char. This will
select the button, just as you click on it with the mouse.

In the upper right corner you see a strange kind of object, it
looks like a "dogs ear" in a book. If you click on this object
a flat hand appears and you can move the form in the range of
the screen with instantly redraw of the background, while youre
pressing the left mouse button down!

These things are features of MAGICLIB and MAGICTOOLS, a profess-
ional GEM library for Modula-2 compilers. MAGIC works with the
most Modula-2 compilers, that been availaible for the ST/STE/TT.
For example TDI, Megamax, H„nisch-M2, SPC-Vincena, and LPR
(available here in GENIE as PD-MODULA). In the near future MAGIC
will support ANA68/ST, FTL/ST and maybe Jefferson-Modula-2.
MAGIC was developed by me and comes total in SOURCE-CODE!!!
Interessted? Just write me a letter: P.HELLINGER in GENIE or
to the address above.

Have a good time with AMAZE!!!
