Instructions - Air to Air Combat

  AIR TO AIR COMBAT INSTRUCTIONS
                       ------------------------------
TO LOAD THE GAME DOUBLE CLICK ON "AIR-MKII.TOS"
AFTER THE TITLES HAVE PASSED THEN PRESS THE SPACE BAR TO STOP THE MUSIC.
PUSHING UP/DOWN ON JOY. WILL ALLOW YOU TO CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO TYPES OF GAMEPLAY.
A PLANET WILL DISPLAY ON THE SCREEN FOR GRAVITY EFFECTS ON OR A CROSS OUT PLANETFOR NO GRAVITY. PRESSING THE FIRE BUTTON STARTS THE GAME. WITH GRAVITY ON YOU
MUST :- PICK UP SPEED ON THE RUNWAY BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE OFF, NOT FLY OUT OF THE
TOP OF THE SKY BECAUSE LACK OF OXYGEN STALLS THE PLANES ENGINES, AND NOT CLIMB
TOO STEEP AN ANGLE WITHOUT FLYING FAST ENOUGH OR THIS WILL ALSO STALL THE
ENGINES. THE ONLY WAY TO START THE ENGINES AFTER STALLING IS TO HEAD TOWARDS
THE GROUND AT FULL SPEED. WITH GRAVITY OFF NONE OF THE ABOVE HAVE EFFECT MAKING
FOR AN EASIER GAME. INFACT IT`S POSSIBLE TO MAKE A VERTICAL TAKE OFF WITHOUT
TAXING ON THE RUNWAY, AND YOU CAN`T FLY OFF THE TOP OF THE SCREEN.
THE CONTROLS FOR THE PLANES ARE AS FOLLOWS :-
  JOYSTICK FOR PLAYER 1 -  UP=PULL UP
                         DOWN=DECEND
                        RIGHT=INCREASE SPEED
                         LEFT=DECREASE SPEED
                        SPACE=FIRE MISSILE
  JOYSTICK FOR PLAYER 2 -  UP=PULL UP
                         DOWN=DECEND
                         LEFT=INCREASE SPEED
                        RIGHT=DECREASE SPEED
                         FIRE=FIRE MISSILE
SHOOTING A BARRAGE BALLOON DECREASES A POINT FROM YOUR APPONENTS SCORE. THE
MISSILES ARE GUIDED SO THEY MOVE IF YOU DO! THE PLAYER WHO WINS IS THE ONE TO
SCORE 5 PONITS THE QUICKEST.

WARNING: DON'T MOVE THE JOYSTICKS AROUND TOO MUCH WHILE THE TITLE MUSIC IS
         PLAYING BECAUSE IT CAN CAUSE THE GAME TO CRASH! THIS IS NOT A
         ERROR ON MY PART BUT IS DUE TO TWO EXTENSIONS THAT I HAVE USED NOT
         LIKING EACH OTHER!
