HEADLINE.DEM A folder containing demo material for free distribution

The file UNI_READ.CCT is a sample character conversion table . This
table converts all ST ASCII characters which have corresponding ones
in one of the regular Signum! fonts ANTIQROM, MATHS and GREEK . These
three fonts are included when purchasing Signum! To demonstrate the
table a sample ASCII.TXT is included that just is a file of all 255
ASCII codes of your ST computer and set in 8 lines with 32 characters
each.

The compressed graphics file formats IMG (GEM Image) and CMP (Public
Painter Monochrom -PPM-) are used in screen size, screen by screen. So
there is no implementation of ...
a) the 2 vertical or 2x2 screens of PPM.
b) the unrestricted GEM IMG-file size of X by Y pixels.
Reasons: The public domain versions of PPM do only support the
vertical 2 screens and headlines are horizontal 'stripes' of 1,2 or
more graphics side by side. Only few programs yet handle IMG size
larger than 640x400 pixels.

We are interested in well designed large fonts. If anyone has
developed those or has suitable ideas and graphic material (scanned or
done 'by hand'), she or he may contact us. We have already designed a
basic collection and are interested in keeping this vivid and growing.
Finished fonts may be bought individually on a kilobyte basis from
your distributor . Contributors get honoured on a font swapping basis.
The idea is to make Signum! a versatile DeskTop Publishing System (SAP
= Signum! Aided Publishing) by using additional programs as HEADLINE,
FONTMAKER and paint programs.
