INSTRUCTIONS
This is GFA-GUP 3 v1.0 1.2.90 An explanation of the files on your disk: Folder: GUP_3 This folder contains the GFA_GUP source files. GUP_3.GFA is contains comments documenting the functions of each procedure. GUP_SEC.GFA is the same as GUP_3.GFA, but with all the comments removed and thus making a much smaller source file. GUP.DFN and GUP.RSC are files containing alert messages generated by the GFA GUP source. H_TO_ASC.PRG is a utility that will convert .H files to LST suitable for merging into GFA BASIC. This program is only required if you use a resource editor other than RSC2.PRG as supplied with GFA BASIC 3. Folder: GUP_DEMO.3 This contains the demonstration source DEMO.GFA. We suggest that you experiment with this program before proceeding with your own design. DEMO.RSC contains the alert and dialog boxes used within DEMO.GFA. These can be edited with a resource construction program such as RSC2.PRG or KRESOURCE. IMMUN.PRG in the AUTO folder will examine the boot sector looking for unwanted virus. If no virus is found then no futher action will be needed. If however a virus or executable code is found in the boot sector, you will be given the option to erase it.
