INSTRUCTIONS

FPLANET is a fractal planet generator.
It uses the method of random faults on
sphere .
This program can be started in either
low or medium rez but the planets are
always displayed in low rez.
1> Main screen.
Icons.
CALC : display and calculate planet in
current mode.
VIEW : Display planet in mode.
MAP : set mode to MAP.
GLOBE : set mode to GLOBE.
SETUP : Setup parameters.
ITERATIONS : No of faults.
SEED : Starting seed.
SEA : default sea level %.
RANDOM : choose random seed.
INIT : erase current planet set defaults
from SETUP.
SAVE : SAVE image of current mode to
degas file.
2> MAP screen
EXIT : return to main screen.
HALT : stop calculating at end of
current cycle.
CALC : Start calculation.
LEVEL : change heights for each colour
ADJ : on the planet.
3> Globe screen.
90 : rotate globe 90 degree
30 : 30 degree
10 : 10 degree
ARROW : set direct of rotation.
I have tried to make this program as
easy to use as possible so the best way
to find out what it does is play with
it.
