Four new commands have been added to speed up redraw times
that are not documented in the FIRST CADD manual. They are:

(TF) FAST TEXT - This command allows the user to turn
off the text display in the drawing
speeding redraw by replacing text with
                          points on the display.

(TV) FAST VIEW - This command allows the user to turn
on (display) text that has previously
been turned off by FAST TEXT.

(FA) FAST ARCS - This command allows the user speed up
the display of arcs and circles by
selecting the number of points to use
                           when drawing them.

(BA) BACKWARDS - This command allows the user to select
the direction of redraw thereby allowing
the last objects drawn to be the first
                           objects to be redrawn.

    Current program hints and problems:

[1] CIRCLE: If and when you use the "C3" command (3-pt circle), you
should specify on the circumference. If you should try and place
the points in a straight line, there is no way of telling what
    you will get.

[2] Any entity that is to be stretched (ie slanted text, rescaled
components ect.) Can not contain arcs or circles, or they will
not appear correct. It is suggested that you use curves instead.

[3] FLOPPY DISKS: If you are using floppy disks for your files double
check that the floppy disk drive door IS CLOSED. If not the system
will try to display an error message.
