INSTRUCTIONS
This ZOO contains three copies of the same program, which computes the Dhrystone performance for the machine it's run on. Run each program and write down the last number it gives (Dhrystones per second). To run the program, just double-click it or type its name in a shell. It will ask for the number of runs; answer 30000 (thirty thousand). About 10 seconds later it'll give you the answer. The various programs, and the answers I get for a normal TT, are: gnu20.prg 3814 GCC 1.37.1 -m68020 (32-bit ints) gnu20s.prg 4382 GCC 1.37.1 -m68020 -mshort (16-bit ints) tc20.prg 5814 Turbo C with 68020 mode turned on.
