Warp is a cool 8-wayscrolling tech demo where you get to blow stuff up. Music plays along with simple effects and it all zooms along nicely. The ST Format Review is far too punishing (20%), but some of the reviews in German mags that gave it 80% are far too forgiving. It is fun and enjoyable for a bit. The name Warp comes from the between mission 3D warp tunnel. Problems: The fortresses you are supposed to destroy kind of look like everything else, so you have to look for them really hard. Your Space ship kind of flies like an out of control car. I sort of uses the Asteroids / Thrust scheme, but as if you have a steering wheel. It's hard to describe, but you careen out of control a lot.
