The Knowledge Vine is dedicated to

This program is packaged as a sequel
to the original ME FIRST. It contains
an additional 24 stories including
simple addition and subtraction. The
story files "E" through "H" are new.
The other files are unchanged.
If you have sent the original $5
registration, you may use these (and
all future stories) free...and
thank you.
If not, please consider registering.
We need your support to produce more
quality programs.

available in the Public Domain, on our
BBS, or by direct mail.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This program is quite simple, just
click away with the mouse.
To exit the stories, the button shows
you that you must press BOTH mouse
buttons. This helps keep wandering
mice out of trouble.
A hidden feature I added is to be able
to see the completed story in normal
or double size. The double size loses
some resolution, but I think the kids
like it better. The animations also run
slower.

If you press the BEGIN button with:
LEFT MOUSE - you get normal size
RIGHT MOUSE - you get double size
If you forget, or never read this,
you'll probably get normal size.

You may want to customize it for your
children. Each set of 6 stories is in
a separate file. Simply copy
KV_ME1ST.PRG, KV_ME1ST.DAT and
the other '.DAT' files into a separate
folder. Or, delete some on each disk.
This allows you to group sets by levels
of difficulty or interest.
As of 6/3/90, 8 sets are available in the
Public Domain or directly from The
Knowledge Vine.
