Great piece of fun educational software. This is a prime example of how it's done - it's fun to play even if you don't care about the educational side, so anyone needing the education, will learn things as a side effect. In Atari Explorer Volume 6, Issue 3 from 1986, it is mentioned that this is for the "Atari 8-bit", and there's even a screenshot. However, I can't find evidence of this anywhere else, it's either this ST version or non-Atari versions. Was it planned and then canceled?
