                        Welcome to CPX Reversi!
                        -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-


CPX Reversi is a .CPX module for Atari's (relatively) new XCONTROL ACCessory.

CPX Reversi is ½1991 Circular Logic.  This ARChive contains a DEMO of
the full registered version.  It's _only_ limitation is that it only allows
you to play 4 games before it starts reminding you it is only a DEMO.

CPX Reversi has been tested and no incompatiblities have been found.
Nevertheless we hereby disclaim any implied warranty.  We cannot be held
responsible for any damage including but not limited to your hardware and
software.  If your hardrive nose dives and your monitor blows up in your face,
don't come crying to me everytime people gawk and point at you.
Play at your own risk.

Installation:
    Simply put the REVERSI.CPX file with the rest of your CPX files.  Reboot
    and click on XCONTROL PANEL and then click on CPX Reversi.


Playing:
    The initial game allows you to go first.  You have the '[]' pieces.
    You place a piece opposite a piece of the opposing player.  This causes
    all opposing pieces between your newly placed piece and a previously
    placed friendly piece to 'flip' over to your type.  This works both
    horizontally, vertically and diagonally (all at once).
    The player with the most pieces at the end wins.  The end is reached
    when all spots on the board are occupied or neither player is left
    with a move.


Options:
   (X) - Close Window (upper left)- closes the CPX.
   Exit- exit back to XCONTROL Panel.
   NewGame- sets up the board for a fresh game and allows you to pick who
         gets to go first.
   Info- credits, Full Registered Version info/address.  The Top two boxes
         are selectable.
       WIN = LOSE = DRAW- This take you to the stats screen where you can
                          see a running total of all the outcomes of all 
                          the games you have played.

            ZAP!- This will re-set all of the stats to 0. (disabled in DEMO)

Paying:
    If you decide you want to full featured Registered Version of the CPX,
    simply pay the modest $10 fee.  Two methods are possible.

    If you send your order by mail, you will recieve a Disk in return mail.
