TRIVIA (1)

Origins

A Finnish homecomputer magazine Printti arranged a competition in 1986 to produce a demo combining a computer generated folklore song with images. It is unknown how many ST entries took part for the competition but the jury decided that quality of Atari, ZX Spectrum and Spectravideo entries was so low, they didn't see any reason to award anyone in these groups. The winning entry "Kukkaniitty" was produced on Commodore 64 by Tom Ekström. First prize was Amiga 1000.
