  Outstanding translation of the arcade classic that is slightly more accurate than its 800 cousin, and the added precision via the analog joystick makes all the difference. One of my absolute favorites for the Atari 5200.

  5200 Gyruss is way better than model 800, some 800 file versions have crashes and the 800 cartridge is lame - it draws with substandard frames per second, maybe I'm imagining it, but 800 cartridge has broken coloration that I can be sure of. I'll write more detail on the 800 page. Like "Joust", Gyruss is serious fun with an automatic rapid fire controller, and unlimited lives cheater. CHEAT MODE unlimited lives, edit the model 5200 cartridge changing 2 bytes: Offset $59B from $D6 to $EA and offset $59C from $AA to $EA. One, and both in 2 players, will go on endlessly.
