One of my go-to games for Atari 5200. A timeless classic, only slightly slower and blockier than the arcade, but a more rewarding experience than any of the rival platforms of the day. Again, why would Atari put Defender on C64, Intellivision and ColecoVision? Whatever.

Unbelievably good. This port blows every other one away. It really feels like you're playing the arcade version after a while. This game, more than any other, reminded me why the 5200 was _the_ home arcade system of the early 80s.
