SynFile is very slow at updating a record due to how it saves records on the disk drive. A faster method is simply to delete the old record and put in a new one with your updated information.

Synapse developed a suite of business applications for Atari and shipped thousands of finished units about the time Jack Tramiel took over. He refused to pay Synapse and then dumped their inventory on the market effectively putting one of the best software companies out of business.
