Author Gary W. Furr started selling his printer drivers himself - as well as developing new ones - after the APX line was discontinued. Each buyer would choose the printer driver he wanted for $10 and receive a personalized disk with documentation. With more than a hundred printers supported, there were potentially just as many different disks available.
