TGIF is one of the great party games for the Atari 800. Don't let the BASIC graphics and klonky sound effects keep you away. It's a terrific party game that works for the whole family, from kids to grandparents. In that regard, it almost gives MULE a run for its money. A true hidden gem. 8/10.

Re the goal: Press 1 for 10,000, 2 for 20,000... etc. You have to make this amount of dosh to win the game! Usually 20K is about right as 10K is too short to find buyers for your investments :-D Have Fun!

Anyone have a manual scan of this? Enjoying the game but am wondering what the "goal" is.

I used to play this game when I was a kid and *loved* it. The treasure hunts were the best part!

I played this game 4 player and I thought it was very fun, especially the treasure hunt, sadly i never won the lottery.

The part number for the disk version is 4575302. I played this a lot... I liked the treasure hunting minigame where you had to follow the arrows, and I had a friend that would come over and play it with me.

It was a fun time-waster, but I can't imagine actually playing it with a group of people...and playing by yourself is pretty silly. It all comes down to luck -- lucky breaks, lucky lottery tickets -- and if you know your stuff it's impossible to NOT find the treasure in the scavenger hunt. So yes, I DID play this game occasionally, but I don't think I ever played it for very long at a stretch.

Well, anyone else out there at all actually play this game??? ??
