Atari France commissioned the programmer to code a touch typing program for the Atari 8-bit in the footsteps of PC Tap, a similar application for the PC which went on to be a very popular title for Ordinateur Express. Due to Atari making way for the ST line in France, TapTexte was shelved.

Many thanks to Igor Barzilai who handed us the likely only surviving copy of the program!
