This took me longer to complete than Witness or Deadline (and the latter was an expert level game). I think the biggest headache was timing. You had to at certain places at the correct time or it becomes a losing cause. The detective, ostensibly the same guy you played in Deadline, isn't very helpful. He just sits around and nails you on circumstantial evidence. YOU'RE the one that has to present him with evidence to keep him at bay. YOU'RE the one that has to convince him to arrest the real suspect(s). Why the detective arrests you and then after the fact puts it all together was something I didn't care for. :)

This was a very tough Infocom game compared to the Zork series and I just couldn't get anywhere with it. Instead I would cause damage to the house, and hit-on and harass the female characters at the party - I was just a really bad guest.
