Interesting how the early C64 release (1985) was 100% done by Digital Integration in the UK. The ATARI port (just decent) was done by Sculptured Software for the US market (via Mastertronic USA). Quite a "phoned-in" conversion, especially on the part of Scultptured Software which, at that time, had already produced the Atari port of Beach Head II. Maybe the initial product wasn't great to start with and the Atari coder didn't feel inspired to improve onto the original product or......... maybe there was no time and money for the Atari conversion (akin to RDS by EA).
